Kim L. Lengert is the Managing and Founding Attorney of Lengert Law, an estate planning and administration law firm that serves people throughout Pennsylvania throughout some of the most joyous – and most difficult – times of their lives.
After several years developing churches in Pennsylvania, Kim looked for more ways to share the core values she learned through her life: all people have value, all people deserve respect, and all people need something – and someone – to stand with them through life changes.
Kim received her Juris Doctor from Widener School of Law in Harrisburg (now “Widener University Commonwealth Law School”), where she also received recognition for her work with the Law and Government Institute, earning a Certificate in Environmental Law and Certificate of Achievement in International Environmental Law. Kim worked in legal aid and a children and youth agency prior to establishing Lengert Law, where she has been able to regularly represent clients throughout the state.
A past Chair of the Solo & Small Firm Section (an organization of attorneys working alone and in small law firms throughout Pennsylvania), continues in the Section’s and in the Pennsylvania Bar Association leadership. Kim is a regular participant in the Pennsylvania Estate Law Institute and The Conference, the annual educational event for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Solo & Small Firm Section, and a recognized speaker for both community and legal education organizations.
In 2019, Kim had the opportunity of a lifetime. An avid camper, hiker and flyfisher, Kim had the opportunity to move onto an island in Maine. As Lengert Law is set up for virtual connections, Kim continues to daily serve her clients from her desk overlooking a field of blueberries and ocean.
