Kim L. Lengert, Esquire is the Managing and Founding Attorney of Lengert Law. Her legal career began as the Family Law Attorney for MidPenn Legal Services, however, her career began not in the courtroom, but at the church altar. An ordained pastor, Attorney Kim Lengert has dealt with people during times of great celebration – and great need.
The values Attorney Lengert has carried through ministry are the same values she carries into the practice of law: all people have value, all people deserve respect, and all people need something – and someone – to stand with them through life changes.
Attorney Lengert received her Juris Doctorate from Widener School of Law in Harrisburg, where she also received recognition for her work with the Law and Government Institute and in Environmental Law, and her Masters in Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. A recognized presenter on family concerns, she volunteers with several organizations that seek to provide people with a better and more stable life.
She is the Immediate Past Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, a member of the member of the Berks County and Schuylkill County Bar Associations, a member and previous office holder of MENSA, a member of the Board of Directors for Schuylkill Women in Crisis, an ELCA pastor, and a supporter of Doberman Rescue, a organization caring for Dobermans which have been abused.
An avid flyfisher and outdoors woman, when not practicing law or pastoring at church, Attorney Lengert enjoys time with her family, camping in the mountains or working around her house, her dogs always playing nearby.
